Welcome to the digging deeper private collection section of Dollarsandart — art that generally finds the right home at the right time, having never been showcased, including the memorable closing piece of 2020: This Shall Pass (Triptych), progressed from March through to December 2020, capturing the surreal year that was....

It's mind-blowing how the universe plays its part and the art finds its way home, like we all do.....

Prior to The Money Collection being produced and finalised in 2011 and 2012, ahead of the first Dubai $ Project in 2013, we thankfully kept the original paintings that didn't fit into the first collection — always termed 'Private Collection' to give it a bit of order.....

We've kept this habit over the years — some that clients asked for are in the Commissioned Work section of the website. Works in this section show how the art has developed over the last decade, with key creative steps along the way as the sands of time shifted...

The majority of these were painted in Chester, UK — a few in Dubai aboard The Qe2, Hong Kong, Macau, Sydney, Prague, Budapest, Madrid, Kuala Lumpur, Oman, and on it goes...

As we live by the choices we make both. on and off the Qe2....
