Both ‘golden opportunities’ doors have closed on me recently, largely thanks to me sticking got my guns and not discounting to a point where it undervalued my lifes work to date…
and end up potentially spiralling my brand due South! In both cases I was assured that other Artists would jump at the chance / do these projects for nothing upfront with a possible payday at the end…..
Springboarding them into the commercial world of Art. So I did the right thing, confided in a couple of people close to me, stood my ground and let the other Artists go for it and establish themselves accordingly…..
as I’m already there. Even as I write this, my fear, you see, is to be considered ‘arrogant’, to shrug off future business and let someone else do the graft for little initial value.
